Job Information

• The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining and/or improving business processes, both with and without the use of appropriate technologies. Possible technologies employed could include Windows Workflow Foundation, K2 Workflow and Windows SharePoint Server.
• The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing existing customer business operations and existing information systems.
• The Business Analyst will analyse the customer’s business trends and exploitation of IT in the department’s business operation.
• The Business Analyst will be responsible for the customer’s specification development, for user requirements for procurement and / or development of new systems.
• The Business Analyst will test the customer’s newly implemented systems and features.
• The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing, defining and documenting change and enhancement requests.
• The Business Analyst will work in a professional and comfortable work environment where the core focus is on learning, growth, knowledge sharing, teamwork and collaboration.
• The Business Analyst must also be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
• A relevant Diploma or Degree or equivalent.
• Business Analysis Courses
• Banking/Finance Qualification
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of development methodologies essential.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies.
• Knowledge of financial / banking sector
• A minimum of 2 years experience in business analysis.
• A minimum of 12 months experience with SharePoint 2007.
• Facilitation of JAD sessions.
• Compilation of statistics.
• Business process modelling / remodelling.
• Testing of new systems and processes, creating test plans
• Assisting in the implementation of new processed and systems.
• Identifying business requirements.
• Creation of Business Requirements Specifications and Functional Specifications
• Business Process Definition
• Workflow solutions / products (e.g. K2 / Windows Workflow Foundation / etc)
Advantageous (nice-to-have):
• Experience in the Banking/Financial Sector
• Previous project management experience.
• Experience with SharePoint 2010.

• Be able to successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
